The sixth edition of the Big Leaders for the Little Leaders Gala – 2021 powered by Itsy Bitsy reminded us all that trust, courage, and perseverance are the superpowers of people who do wonderful things for the benefit of children.

This year, 7 Leaders for Leaders took the Stage of Le Chateau in Bucharest and received the Itsy Bitsy trophies, offered as a sign of recognition and appreciation for the significant projects they have carried out in 2020, in areas such as education for children and teachers, well-being, health for children and social involvement.

The event took place in a hybrid system, with, free live broadcast on itsy bitsy radio and online channels. Even if we could not celebrate the moment in the hall, as in other years, the emotions and joy felt by the winners of the trophies easily reached the thousands of people who watched live the Itsy Bitsy Gala.

The event did not lack, even this year, the opinions shared by the children of the current generation regarding the relationship with their parents and the changes they have experienced in the last year. Authentic, sincere, and optimistic, they reminded us all that adults have a lot to learn from children. In other words, “The egg also teaches the hen”.

Emotional messages were sent to the public and Andreea Marin, Calin Goia, Smiley, who encouraged us to really see the needs of the children and to find together ways to collaborate so that all the children in Romania feel supported on all levels.
