Transylvania College Foundation was established with the purpose of supporting the education of excellence, formal and non-formal, by organizing courses, seminars, and professional development programs. In its twenty-six years of activity, Transylvania College Foundation has been involved in the community through the multitude of projects it carries out, such as, organizing national and international conferences on educational topics, courses, and seminars for teachers, non-formal education programs, and after school and summer camps.

The first project of the foundation was happy kids kindergarten. Today, it is known as Transylvania College School | The Cambridge International School in Cluj, which offers a modern education at the highest international standards to over 650 students from twenty-five countries, from six continents.

The educational projects take place on a modern campus, the first green building built for education in Romania, where children learn, play, and discover their world in spacious classrooms with a lot of natural light, built according to the principle of green buildings. The students enjoy a multimedia library, an art room, a music hall, a business hall and laboratories equipped with the latest technology,  as well as a swimming pool dedicated to children aged between four months and ten years.

The project launched in 2019 and Happy Teachers for Romania is a continuation of these training programs launched by the Transylvania College Foundation. An innovative program based on the latest research in the field of neuroscience and intended for the social-emotional development of teachers. The program was conceived by Simona Baciu, President and Founder of Transylvania College. Simona is an international expert in education, and  worked alongside a team of specialists and psychologists from prestigious universities in the country and abroad. The program has a basic book The Teacher in You, written by Simona Baciu, together with Susan Shapiro. The book has been received with much enthusiasm from teachers around the world.
